We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most often used for ADA website accessibility.
What we've done
- Text and buttons meet WCAG color contrast requirements.
- Every part of the site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations are turned off for visitors who set "reduce motion" on their device.
- The layout works on phones and when text is enlarged up to 200%.
- We check the site with automated accessibility testing tools when we make changes.
